Ingredients:
3 chicken breasts
Mushrooms
2 small onions
3 to 4 cloves garlic
corn starch
For the sauce:
3 to 4 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 to 2 Tablespoons fish sauce
2 Tablespoons sugar
4 to 5 Tablespoons mirin (rice wine)
Chop the chicken and the veggies. Coat the chicken in corn starch and fry in a very hot, pre-heated pan. While the chicken is cooking, mix all the ingredients for the sauce. After the chicken is completely cooked, add the veggies. Add the sauce when the veggies are fully cooked. Mix a cup of water and a tablespoon of corn starch together and stir in to thicken the sauce and dilute the soy-sauce. Serve over rice.
Eat like this...
PS. I'm estimating the measurements since I never really measure. Feel free to tweak the recipe, adding some spicy peppers to the sauce is also nice. Ella likes it when I make this because the chicken is a little sweet.
